FREEDOM GARDEN AND BEES PROJECT

"Freedom Garden and Bees: Empowering Homeschoolers Through Sustainability and Ecology"

Project Summary: The Freedom Garden and Bees is a hands-on ecological learning system designed for our homeschooling community. It will integrate a pollinator-friendly garden and a beekeeping program, offering students practical education in sustainability, biology, and community-driven stewardship.

What’s the Problem? Many homeschooling families search for access to interactive, nature-based learning opportunities that emphasize sustainability and ecological responsibility.

Our Solution - The Freedom Garden and Bees project provides a thriving outdoor classroom where children and families can learn sustainable gardening, the importance of pollinators, and how to care for bees. By cultivating a deep connection with nature, participants gain knowledge that inspires action. Our Freedom Garden and Bee colony promotes experiential education and the development of vital life skills.

Help Our Vision Grow! We are currently seeking funds to be used to establish the Freedom Garden with native plants, purchase a native bee colony and Queen, build a bee-friendly habitat, and purchase educational materials. Your contribution will help us kickstart the project and create an enriching space for homeschoolers to learn and grow.

Community Event: In the Spring, we will host a hands-on planting event where homeschooling families can come together to plant the garden. This event will be filmed to document the project’s launch and share our vision with a broader audience.

Educational Resources: Funding will also support materials for workshops, teaching children about pollination, sustainable gardening, and ecological stewardship. This project fosters community involvement and provides a rich, interactive learning environment for children and families.
